    Doctor Who Customs?

Well I've never made a custom in this scale or the Mego-style before. How hard would it be to make the rest of the Doctors?

Now that BifBangPow! have lost their Doctor Who license, I guess it's up to us to fill in the gaps, and I'd personally like to give it a go. I was really looking forward to lining up all the Doctors in order. Of course, we already have the 1st, 4th and 11th Doctors from BBP!, but has anyone got any tips or ideas for the 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, War, 9th, 10th and 12th Doctors? Or has anyone actually already attempted some of these - please post pictures if so!

I'd appreciate any and all feedback, guys. Thanks in advance!

I've been rolling this around in my mind for a couple of weeks. The new Pez presidents series are providing a huge assortment of potential customs... Of course I'm speaking of only the lesser known presidents. They look to be close to the right scale so I'm thinking there may be a few Doctors in the mix.

This is the Vastra I started at Mego Meet a couple of years back, with the help of some putty from del/Amy and a Star Trek figure from EMCE Hammer. It's on my big list of projects to finish.

You could make a poor man's Pertwee by painting a Starsky head. If no one sculpts one that's where I'm headed.

I'm not sculpting it myself but I am commissioning one.

I'm wondering if you might be able to repaint a Bif Bang Pow Tom Baker into a decent Pertwee likeness. Hmmm...

Awesome! Thanks guys! I reckon I'll give that 2nd Doctor and Brigadier a try at some point.

As for the 3rd Doctor, I think the Starsky head would work. A BBP! 4th Doctor might, too. It'd probably be easier to get my hands on a BBP! 4th Doctor, so I might go down that route. I'm just worried it'll look too much like Tom Baker, that's all. Hmmm...

As for that Vastra, Samurainoir, great work! Can't wait to see her finished!

Just browsing through some images. Perhaps the guy on the right could be used as an 8th Doctor? The 8th Doc never had a beard but it's the closest to his likeness that I've found so far.

                      Or perhaps this guy.

This guy's head for the 5th Doctor?

                      10th Doctor?

And perhaps Captain Pike for the 9th Doctor?

Has anyone checked out Ada' custom sculpts of some of the Doctors? I bought the Pertwee one with the intention of shrinking it to Mego size. It is a beautiful sculpt. I am just in the process of doing a bunch of the Big Jim figure heads down to Mego but that was going to be my next project.

Brilliant idea! I'll use the Titan heads! Yeah, they're a fraction over-sized and quite cartoon-y but I think that's probably the best way of going around it without sculpting something anew.

                          Thank you!!
