How can I ENLARGE a small Toy Soldier figure one or two more inches higher?

Well,..its really not a Toy Soldier, but a similar figure that I want to enlarge an inch or two,..is there a simple process to expand the figures size????? Will appreciate any advice or help in this matter...or maybe if someone could 3D print this figure an inch higher, along with price?

This tutorial is about heads, but it would also work with your toy soldier.

I think the Hydrospan is your only option.

Hydrospan or getting someone to scan and print it. I have the feeling both will be costly.

Do you realize how many days I've been resisting posting that based on the thread title alone?!?!

I'll comment on behalf of Link (since he's my kid and I'll help him on a project like this).

                            1) hard to tell scale of that Riddler. If we're talking the size of a toy soldier - what, a little over one inch tall? We've never scanned anything that small, but in theory it should be doable. The first problem I see with the piece is how the feet attach to the base. That base prevents us from scanning him on his side and getting good data of his inner legs/groin or bottom of that left foot.
                            2) If we can overcome the scanning issue, then size becomes and issue. On a printer such as ours, Link would most likely have to perform digital work to enhance all the facial details and question marks on the outfit.
                            3) Assuming that the final piece is now going from a little over one inch tall, to now three inches tall...meh, it might actually print pretty good for us - but my method of post-printing clean-up might now work on something so small and detailed.

If the piece could be cut up to remove that base, meh, we could probably do it, but we are talking 1-2 hours of scanning, 3-6 hours of post-scan work, then 2-5 hours of printing.
With projects already on our plates, the fee would probably squish your desire to have it - sorry, that's just where the technology has us at this point in time. Give another five years, and the process will be better, faster, and as a result - cheaper.
