    Removing Ink Stains from Faces

Anyone got any tips for removing ink stains from faces? Trying to get some red ink out of my BBP 4th Doctor's face. He got stained from the scarf/coat and nothing seems to get it out. Thought maybe there was a trick I hadn't tried yet.

    Any help would be appreciated!

I've used acetone on a cotton swab on the original plastic only. Never on the paint-ops unless you want to remove them. The trick is to not have too much acetone on the swab (moist, not dripping) and never wipe the same area with the same cotton swab. Once the swab absorbs the color it's ready to place it back down in a thinner layer. For color transfer onto painted areas, I recommend covering with paint and sealer.

Try rubbing alcohol, I've had good luck with it, and it won't hurt the head any.

The Clearasil thing works pretty good, there's a how to on Youtube for American Girl dolls, same method, just lots smaller scale.
