    This Bike needs a rider!?

I made this bike about 2005.Its made entirely from steel(except for the belt).Back when Jesse James and some others had their custom motorcycle shows on,i used to watch them.

I decided i was going to build my own bike, but since i couldn't afford the real thing i went with a scaled down version, lol.

This was made using scrap metal, nuts, bolts and the tires were originally large garage door rollers.

The scale wasn't really planned and was just kinda eyeballed based on the tires.

The gas tank and oil tank are both hollow and made just like i saw Jesse do it on TV.

A couple years later when i got back into Megos,i thought it would be cool to have a Mego scale rider for the bike.

I have an idea for the figure i want to do.The problem maybe the scale or lack of,in finding a Mego body that looks right on it.

I thought maybe a 9" Mego body would do it and got a cheap Dr.Who off Ebay a couple months backs and finally got around to getting the two together.

The scale seems close. What do you guys think? Deal or no Deal!

Extra bonus points for using garage door rollers! Are you sure 8" wouldn't look better?

I second the Hammer's idea. Looks like a 1/9 would work perfectly. That is awesome. You built that out of scrap parts, I probably couldn't complete a snap-together model kit that looks this good.

Thanks, its been awhile since i messed with this bike but i'm doing some winter cleaning and dug it out of the shelf it was on,lol.

I'll have to take a pic with an 8" figure and see what that looks like.

Both tires plus the fenders were made out of the garage rollers. The "fenders" were widened as well as the back tire to make it wider than the front.

Originally the inner rim looked like garage rollers, but i didn't like the look,so i removed that and replaced it with the spoked rims which are made out of 1/16 stainless rod.

I've made four of these, all different, one i gave to my Mom because she likes when i make her something as opposed to buying her something and the other two were donated to charity auctions.

This one i made for myself and really went all out on it.As i already said the gas tank is hollow and and the gas cap is removable. The forks and wheels turn and the motor is bolted in from the bottom and is removable too.

I spent way too much time on this one and could have added more but i stopped because i was anxious to see what it looked like painted.

It turned out alright for my first and only "flame job" on a bike. Thanks for the comments on it.

Here's a couple pics with no figure.I have to take one with a 1/9 yet.

Not perfect the frame is a little long but its better than the 9" Mego body.

Well, you the know "the MANTOOTH" makes anything look great and looks great on anything, but i have another vehicle "in the works" for him.

The figure i had in mind for this bike fits more into the timeframe that i did it in and another hint would be,a shrunk down Tigerman head would be a good starting point for him.

I was going to suggest it would be a good bike for the Hulkster, brotha!!

The Hulkster would work too,but not the figure i'm thinking of.

Everyone loves the Hulkster! The guy i'm thinking of is popular(or used to be) but i think most people love to hate him.
