8 inch female body suit patterns

    Hi all

Over this weekend I discoverd this evil store Called Joanns lol... A customizers playland it is... IMO its 10 x better than Michaels when it comes to customizing as far as Fabric and accessories are concerned, I am probably not telling you all who are so skilled at this anything new, Just sharinG my weekend experience.

Being a kitbasher to this point and solely relying on you very talented but busy artists for costumes to this point I picked up some materials to take a stab at a couple of outfits for some costume designs my 15 yo has for some 8 inch figures.

So my question is has anyone posted a how to on the dimensions of an 8 inch female mego figure for sewing purposes.

Thank you for any help in this matter.

You'll find sizes and patterns for a female bodysuit, along with a bunch of other good stuff.

JoAnns--praise be--stocks Jet-Set (it's a polyester single-knit, like jersey)--the closest thing to vintage Mego fabric you can find at retail, and available in many colors for Hallowe'en.
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

Personally I've found the bodysuit patterns to be a bit off in scale and have had to tweak them a bit but they are a great source to start with.

Agreed. Any pattern you find should be a guide line only!
Final product depends on the thickness and how it stretches.
I've always had to adjust my final product.
A few people want their body suit painted on so to speak.

Well for example; pretty much any pattern is a straight line down through the legs.
It doesn't curve in for the calves or ankles.

I've found that if you make the ruler with the pattern to it's correct size that the bodysuit was about 3/8th to 1/2 inch short in the torso from the crotch to the neck.
