Who would you use for heads to make these 2 guys into Mego's?

Ok, I've had this project in mind for awhile now and even though i'm short on money i would love to get to making these 2 customs
I Loved the Short-lived 1971 TV show The Bearcats! It only had 2 stars and 1 guest who was on twice.
So making a set of figures would really only need to be the 2 stars. Rod Taylor and Dennis Cole.
Here's some images and let's hear your ideas. I would love custom made heads but doubt i could afford that.

Ya , I was going to say Hutch also.
Repaint the eyes and his bangs, and the hat would cover the top of his head anyways.

I think if you paint Pa Walton with dark hair and eyes, it's not bad.

^I think these are good choices.

BTW, if you use a resin Pa Walton, you can sand the jawline a bit (remove the jowls)--it makes him even more rugged.
