EMCE Phantom Mask Help

My painting skills are non existent., how would could I easily put together a mask for the EMCE Toys Phantom of the Opera? I thought of maybe cutting up a head from CTVT? Which one do you guys think would be the closest to what was seen in the movie?

Any of the re-released Aurora Phantom of the Opera models. The kit is Mego scale and comes with a film accurate mask.

The Luminators version is usually really cheap.

Unfortunately no...they did alternate masked and unmasked heads but no mask.

Yep, it's a separate piece. I've built about a dozen of them over the years for people.

seems like any smiling head from CTVT might work, it would give you the cheeks, Ralph Malph looks like its worth a try.

I would suggest, as per Dwayne, using an Aurora reissue mask, though it's not quite like any film version.

I bought a CTVT Space: 1999 Operator 8 gray face-mask, but it lacks detail and is molded too thickly to be very useful.

Does anyone here have access to vacuforming? That would produce a great mask.

I'm wondering about 9"-10" figures, like Big Jim & esp. Lone Ranger (he has a great bland expression).

The head is slightly larger than Mego--if the face could be trimmed away from the head, and with a bit of dremmeling on the interior to adjust the fit, it could be great. It would have the advantage, too, of not needing painted.

I don't have an idea about the skull-cap, but personally I'd combine a mask with a CTVY black "Earp" hat.
