Just curious if anyone has done any "do it yourself" custom molds of the RC batman cowl. Reason I ask is that the cowl is perfect for a custom I want to do, but I need one in a different color and without the ears. While I haven't really done any casting, I am sure I can figure out how to do the outside mold, I am not sure how to do the hollow inside portion as needed. Also, not sure what material to use to make it the flexible material that the cowls were made in. Any suggestions?

I may have to give that a try as I am really hoping to get something without having to cut the ears leaving cut marks on the head piece.
Where can I find plait-dip? regular craft store?Looking for:

I found Plasti-dip at Lowes, just dunked the pez and let it dry a few times untill it looks the way you want it. The plasti[dip will drip down some, so you have to put some thought into how you position it while it dries (I hung the Batman upside down and between the ears the dip built up a little too much). I painted the Cap one with acrylics and it doesn't crack, stays flexible. here's a pick of my results (and this was my first attempt)batman_2.jpg
I think I may have covered the Pez heads in a layer of tinfoil first to help keep the Plasti-dip from stickingComment
