    >Don't know why it's happening this much now when it wasn't before.

Maybe the rubber's bad. What's the pot life on the stuff you use? (I always go for longer cure times. It helps with the bubbles.)

Get one of them squiggle writer pens. Use it to massage the mold when you make them. It'll help loosen ay air bubbles.

It's new rubber. I called Smooth On and talked with tech support, he asked for the lot # and didn't say anything about it being no good. It's probably too much release agent, he said that on a rubber / vinyl surface like a figure head that the release agent doesn't dry as fast. The problem is even described on their web site and attributed to use of too much release agent. He said it would be better to wait 10 day over 10 minutes after applying the release to t vinyl. He also said that rubber like the silicone mold compound doesn't like other rubber compounds but the vinyl shouldn't be to bad. He said the the silicone mold material and latex would stick to each other. He also said to pour mold compound in a small stream into the container with the mold master, that way bubbles in the liquid compound will pop in the pouring.

I've tried making the mold again not using any release and pouring in a small stream. I will let everyone know what happens later.

Well I made a cast from the new mold and it turned out MUCH better. Only 3 little bubble marks and that's a repairable number. So the moral of this is don't use the release when making a mold or let it REALLY dry.

Once again: you only need mold release when you are making a two-part mold and you do not want the 2 parts to become one!

Yup. And even then, I prefer Vaseline.
