Hey all

I know you are all familiar with the wonderful work that blacknight produces, and there was a previous thread with these same 2 characters by one of the Vinnies (I think)
but I digress. I know it is easy to put John Wayne in his western Garb and Errol Flynn in a Robin Hood outfit, but they were more than that, would you like to see The duke in an army uniform (The Longest Day)
or Mr. Flynn in a Pirate outfit (Capt. Blood)

Let me know what you think Guys your opinion is greatly appreciated.

I'm a BIG John Wayne fan! He could've dressed in a ballerinas outfit, tutu and all, and I woulda paid to see it. Only Clint Eastwood is even close to The Dukes coolness...

P.S. I am in no way shape or form suggesting that you make a John Wayne custom wearing a ballerina outfit. Just sayin...

I'm more partial to Wayne's military and/or adventure films than the westerns, so I'd love to see him in army gear or a safari get up.

How bout a John Wayne custom figure and...
wait for it...
custom outfit sets! Kinda like Action Jackson?

I like El Dorado and I like James Cann, but based on his accent, I doubt he knew Mississippi existed before he got the role,lol.

Wayne looks great in an Action Jackson Army outfit and Flynn had a few military roles, too. Captain Blood is one of Flynn's few roles w/o a mustache. Can't wait to see what you do with them.


I'd love to get a Bogart, Stewart and Cagney heads at some point.

Here's some of what I did with Wayne and one of Flynn.

Without going custom costume I have come up with these AJ outfits for Mr. Wayne
Hell Fighters/AJ Rescue outfit
Island in the Sky/AJ spy outfit
Flying Leathernecks/AJ Air force outfit(but could use a softer headgear)
Sands of Iwo Jima or the Longest Day/AJ Army outfit
The Green Berets/AJ Aussie marine outfit(but with an 8inch scaled beret)
The Alamo/ mish mash of Davy Crockett pants, Blue Wyatt Earp shirt, CTVT Brown Vest, Davy Crockett coon skin cap.

Not really seeing a lot out there for Errol aside from the Robin Hood apparel and mixing and matching the Buffalo Bill and Davy Crockett outfits for the Died with their Boots on Custer.
Was trying to piece together a pirate outfit but can't find a white flaired sleeve shirt.

Of our Talented outfit makers here has anyone attempted an 8 inch scale US Calvary Outfit???

You might check with Brian Leitner about making a Calvary shirt/uniform. He's very talented.
