Looking for someone to commission a head sculpt.

In 1/6 scale. Not sure who's in the game of doing commission work. I know we have a ton of talent here at the Museum. I would think that the sculpt is going to be fairly simple for someone to do...... just not for me . Also looking for recommendations on the best painter we have that is willing to do side work. Would be nice if sculptor and painter were one in the same, but not necessary. Thanks!

        PM sent BK.

Be happy to share pics with anyone that is interested in doing commission work. I have contacted a few folks and let's just say the response has been underwhelming at best..... as in no response. I got one suggestion from a friend and it hasn't gone anywhere. I'm just disappointed is all. I'll stick with it though and i'm sure something will pan out soon!

David... I may be very wrong here but didn't someone say they bought the Weissmuller Tarzan head and it wasn't close to Mego 8 inch scale??? Or was that another seller???

huh... hadn't heard that... I had a perfect 8 inch head done...it was of a real guy, and pretty spot on, I might add.

I remember reading a thread about that a while back. Said the Weissmuller head they commissioned was WAY small. Smaller than Teen Titans scale. Was suggested they Hydrospan the head and recast it so it wasn't a total loss.

Yep, the buyer had to turn around and get someone to hydrospan it up to mego size.
