customs I am working on

So I have been trying to pull together a few parts for my first customs.

1. I am doing a Goldar from the Japanese 70's TV show "Space Giants", I have been trying to buy off ebay for cheap the legs and arm guards and the boots off the mego Tin Man since before the last MM :(
I plan on trying to mold the chest piece.

2. I am working on a Man from Atlantis. I am looking for the zip up dark blue "emergancy" or Swat LJN jacket

If anyone happens to have any of these, they are willing to sell PM me please.

Ok finally got a complete tinman for $18, been working on Man from Atlantis emblem for on his swim suit and jacket. This is one time I wish I had smaller hands, LOLMFA icon.jpg

Hmmmm....

Something you might look into for Goldar is using craft foam. It'll look a lot like the actual costume.... mostly 'cos you'll be making the equivalent of the costume in Mego scale. It's cheap, easy to work with; although it'll take some tweaking to get it right. Especially the rounded parts.

Yes CTC (Don) I was thinking of using Crafting foam, was wondering if that would work, or I also was thinking,I have a bunch of very thin black leather, I could paint gold and fit together in layers. we will see, I almost have all my parts and pieces for Goldar. But am working on man from atlantis first, to get my skills up
