    Another 3d printer question

lets say I want to make a duplicate Mego head with a 3d printer. Do you need a special 3d scanner or do the 3d printers come with this? I know I have seen that the object in question has to be a .cam file and I saw in some youtube videos a rather large scanner for whatever object. Just curious if the printer comes with this and if not what type of scanner exactly do you need?

you do need a 3D scanner you can use a laser and a web cam the better the resolution on the cam the better the model, this site has a good free version of the software

your link points to a torrent site as well as a torrent rip, maybe you should edit your link
