    Flash Head Wanted

Hey everyone.....at the ripe old age of 30 somthin'.....I've decided to get back into customizing Megos as all of your great postings have inspired me.

I am interested in starting with some fairly easy ones but can't seem to find heads for the following: The Flash, Rhino or Bizarro plus finding a Hulk body is harder than I thought.

    Any suggestions?

I have two Bizarro heads, one from Jim Hampton based on a Mego Superman head, and one from Ron Peritore based on the Superfriends.

    A Custom Mego site

Austin has a cool Flash head. His user id is megowgsh. I think he has a Rhino head as well, but I can't remember. I know Russ at Customslab had a Rhino, Flash (not sure about Bizarro) but I'm not sure if his shop is open at the moment.

...Brian has also done a Bizarro head for me. It was a recast Mego Superman head, with chiselled features.

Thanks Dave. I actually tried to get onto Austins' site (reproheads) but I had to be referred by someone to gain access. And since I'm still new here, it was a no-go.

I did my Rhino by reworking sculpy around a Hulk head recast. Hulk repainted might work for Bizarro also but Brians has a nice chiseled look to it. He had one on ebay last week. I bought a Flash head either from Brian or Doc last Megomeet too. I just painted it as Prof. Zoom a couple of days ago. So I know one of them have one available. They come cast in red or yellow (for Zoom). The one I got was very Mego-like which is what I wanted. When I get a chance I'll post a Rhino pic. I just got a Wii so I am expecting to be very "busy" this evening setting it up for the family but I'll see what I can do.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.

A related question for Dave Mc. I think it was Dane that had a great Flash head as well. Is that something that you do for him? I thought it was based on Bruce Wayne but I could be wrong. That was another fabulous version.

^^^ I Think Dane said he sculpted the Mask over a Bruce Wayne Head,.. then got someone to cast it for Him. & Agreed. That Flash Head was the Best Flash head I have personally scene. He said it was casted by a Chris Johnson.

That's the one. I love that head.

I used Troy Younger's Filmation sculpt (brilliant!) as well as one I got from Austin. Not to hijack this thread, but I would love to find out where to get Dane's sculpt.

Ron, yeah, I have Dane's Flash head for my custom. A while back he had Chris (I think it was) cast a few for those who wanted them and I hopped on that wagon as it drove through. I don't know if that's being cast at the moment.

Hey! Thanks for the compliments Guys! I would imagine that, the Mold Chris(Chris DVM) used would be pretty old by now...but maybe He has a extra Cast laying around? My old one had different earwings(flat)...I've updated Him now...but I don't know how to cast.
