What glue to reattach ST: TOS vintage emblem foil?

Any suggestions on reattaching vintage Star Trek insignia foil?

I tried my old standby, thinned Aileen's Tacky Glue, but it dries too quickly and doesn't actually work well on smooth. non-pourous surfaces.

hey buddy, Pat Catan's has this stuff called "Darice Hercules Glue" Its a glue stick type product in a yellow triangle tube that works great putting emblems back on.

I will try that, but I think I might need something to brush on, considering the small shape and tight quarters.

Its a soft style glue not a liquid, I've had great luck with it on emblems, it dries clear. I just push it up a little and rub the emblem across it. That link explains it pretty good. It doesn't say non-toxic, so don't go tasting it okay

I might be a nerd, but I didn't eat paste or sniff glue lol.
