I need the mego museums communitys help with a custom figure

So far all the parts for "The John Williams Project(that's what I'm calling it)" are coming along fantastic.The only parts that I'm having trouble with are the gloves/gaunlets and the parts that go on the boots.I'd like to have the gloves/gauntlets made out of resin but I'm by no means a sculpter and I have no idea how to make the parts for the boots.I tried making the gauntlets and I ruined 3 pairs already.If anybody could make them and paint them gold I'd gladly pay for them,they should be a little big(not much)to go over the sleeves for the outfit,I'd need 2 pairs of them.Thanks to everyone that's helped so far,I really appreciate it.

I forgot to mention that I bought 2 pairs of David Lees Black Hero boots for his boots.After reading the previous posts I'm wondering if I buy the mego knight boots and cut them to shape on the hero boots,if that would work?I'd still have to have them painted the black and gold to match the picture.Let me know what everyone thinks of my idea,if it would work or not or if anybody has any other ideas.

No offense intended to Paul's work... but there used to be action figures called Centurions that were about Mego size... and I remember them having rocket pack boosters like that. You might be able to incorporate them into your rocket pack design to give it a more 3d look.

WOW!!!That's more than I expected,you surprised me with the gauntlets and the boot spikes because those were the last thing that needed to be done-I can't wait to see John Williams face when he gets the figure.I will definately post pictures of John Williams with his figure when it's done.I could've used the centurians jetpack but it would've been to big for the box and besides I think John Williams wouldn't care one way or the other because just to see his character come to life would make him happy but thanks for the suggestion sprytel.
