Mego Batman Foot Split along side.

Purchased Mego Batman and foot has like a spit or cut along side of foot. Is that normal aging or from stress to the foot?

    Thanks,
    Robert

Thats a fairly comon thing as they age, leave the boot on and you'll soon forget about it.

My Pete Burke has the same problem.

a lot of the Type 2 bodies get that. if it is coming apart you cnae use a small piece of tape to hold it while you put the boot back on. no one will ever know the difference while it is displayed

I've done a lot of restoration over the years, using the skill I learned building model kits. My best advice is don't even try to do it yourself if you don't know what to do. Any failed attempt at repair, will only make a good repair harder and more costly. Quick fixes are the best. Little tape, in the boot, and good to go! Leave costly restoration to those things you really want to spend some money on.

              Hmmmm....

Feet are pretty easy to replace if it's a T2. Use a pencil to push the pin out, slide another one on ad replace pin.
