    Help with hands

I'm new to the forum. I need some advice on how to replace a pair of hands in a figure. I have noticed that Doc Mego sells various pairs of hands, but some are without wrist pins. How do you swap out a pair of standard hands on a figure for a different pair (such as colored, different poses, etc.)?

Heat a cup of water in the microwave for 3 minutes. Put arm in water for a minute and just pull. Replace instantly while the arm is still warm.

Welcome to the museum. Good luck with the hand swap.

I clicked on the link and it says "Cory Wood's Hand Repair Tutorial..." at the top, but the rest of the page is blank. Am I missing something?

Yes you are. There are a series of illustations that show how to use an 'altered Push pin tool' to remove the wrist pins, as well as how to use a paper clip/boiling water to remove a wrist post without a hand attached.

That's weird. I use Firefox and the illustrations aren't there. I just tried it in Internet Explorer, and it I can see them just fine.

I noticed that too. But I tried it in Internet Explorer and it worked fine. Thanks to all for their help. I am creating some custom figures of my own design and appreciate any help that I can find.

Another question: Do CTVT hand sets fit Doc Mego bodies?
