Logan's Run

Hey guys! I am planning to do a Logan's Run custom in the 8" scale and I am hoping for some tips/suggestions.

I am not planning for this to be much more than just assembling various pieces together but I am not opposed to some more detailed work if needed. Basically, I need a Michael York (Logan from the film) head sculpt. I have never done any sculpting myself so I am hoping that maybe someone out there has one they have done in the past or something.

Also, any ideas on the Sandman pistol for him? I would like it to be reasonably screen accurate but does not need to be 100% perfect. Any ideas for some kit bashing? Same for the scanner. I am drawing a blank on ideas for this that would fit in the hand of the 8" scale.

What about Brian Heiler's head sculpts. Is Brian still around? I reduced his 9" Logan's heads to 8", but wouldn't cast of sell copies without his permission. There also was an 8" Michael York head available.

Given the following replies I assume his version may not still be available? But you said there was an 8" Michael York head? I searched through the forum, but didn't see anything. Of course, there is way too much to search through every page. Maybe I missed it. Any other info to point me in the right direction?

I think the Michael York head sculpt was offered by DaveMc. As far as I know Paul Evans was still making available this heads upon request, but his website no longer seems to be working. Anybody wwith more info on this?

The sculpt that was produced by me/Sean Sansom isn't available anymore. The molds are gone/dried up but we are talking about doing another.

Lonnie here on the MM made an awesome Logan's gun custom piece for a 9" or 10, maybe.
