I think Magneto was one of the best ones. The head sculpt is a perfect Jim Lee and the scale is right on for a Mego.

I was wondering if you could do neck adapters for the Yvonne figure. That way, we could put Mego Gal heads onto the body without a lot of fuss.

It doesn't appear as if the paint can be removed from Cap's costume since it goes all the way through the fabric. I decided to just put a Spider-Man Origins CA costume over the top of it. It's bulkier, but the extra suit underneath fills out the loose fabric in the the shoulders and it covers up those awful oversized stars on Cap's costume. I just need to sew it back up now.

I like the gloves on Magneto. Were those made from the cape?

Three years later, I say thanks for nothing. And by 'nothing' I mean something. And by 'thanks' I mean GaryPlaysWithDolls.

Thanks. Yup, they were hand sewn by me...same spandex material as the cape.

Marvel Famous Cover Iron Man custom 8" figure

Famous Cover Iron Man custom 8in. 6.jpg

Famous Cover Iron Man customized with FC Dr. Doom body armor on 8" Zica type S body.

There is very little articulation. The head moves and the waist moves. The elbow and knee joints move a little bit, but are restricted by the vinyl body armor.

I've never seen anyone else do this so I thought I'd share.

FC Iron Man custom fig size comparison

                      879554037_o.jpg

This pic shows the difference in size between the FC Iron Man custom fig and a regular 8" figure. If I had went with Mego-style boots, the figure would have probably been a little shorter but I wanted to keep the original parts intact.
