Yes! That is what it should look like. Mine will probably be close-but not as good looking as that. More pics added. Click on the original links on the first page of this thread to see.

I think I'll have to use some ready-made tupperware container or 3 liter soda bottle for the front body. I can't get anything close to that shape. For fans of the Whomobile:

The Icarus from POTA is nearly finished. Mine came out too big-for a Mego-like toy and differs slightly as a toy versio would from the 1970's. For POTA enthusiasts also check out these web-sites devoted to the Icarus:

Hey John
excellent work. good to see someone whos loves vehicle construction. I'd really like to know your choose of raw material for the projects shown. I have plans and have constructed a vacuform table that I used on modeling projects. Soon I hope to transfer them to the site.
