Trek T2 to Std T2 and anyone have an extra upper thigh peg hook?

I've ended up with a Trek T2 body I hadn't asked for (for free, so no complaining ).

From looking at it, it would seem it should not be a big deal to convert it to a std T2 body, if I could find the lower legs. Is this right? Just in case I want to use it for another character without Trek boots.

ALSO

anyone have an extra upper thigh peg hook I could have (the little plastic thing)? Got a busted T2, and this is the only piece I would need to fix it.

I actually have the pieces of the broken peg and could try to superglue it back together as well, but not sure if it would hold up once it's holding the body together again.

Hmmmm....

It'd be MUCH easier to replace the leg at the hip than to try and undo a knee joint. Someone might have some legs they could trade, or a T2 regular bod for a Trek one. Supergluing the hip hook thingie is probably a bad idea. That piece has a LOT of pressure put on it, the plastic doesn't hold ANY kind of fixative well, and it's likely to snap at some point. If you don't have a new hook, and don't care how it looks but want it still posable, you can drill a hole through the ball at the top of the leg, going through the hole where the hook'd normally go. Run a round, wooden toothpick through it, making sure to put it through the metal hook on the band. Or restring that side with elasticized cord.

thx for the info. Yeah, I wouldn't think a glued peg hook would be able to stand the tension of holding the figure together.
Good ideas on the trek body.

Maybe I'll put it up for trade or see if anyone has some legs I can get somehow.
I guess no one has an extra upper thigh peg hook ?
