GA GL
This is one of those guys who you can two two or three different versions of. If you go back far enough, he's got a bigger belt and puffy clothes ala Firestorm....different cape too. And on the other end of the spectrum there was a point a few years ago where they were drawing him even more "modern/extreme' than the version you just did. I am a fan of all three styles, it's just a great mix of colors. I like all the GLs and their costumes, but Alan Scott has always made the rest of them look a little plain to me.Comment

Some good cheap ways to get caught up on the old JSA/Earth-2 thing is in back issues of "All-Star Squadron", "All-Star Comics" and their cross-overs with the JLA in the old "Justice League of America". Lotsa cool characters designs in there for customs.Think OUTSIDE the Box! For the BEST in Repro & Custom Packaging!Comment

Big thanks for the Insight of the Books Anthony.
However Being "Cheap" is really not the issue with my Hobby, or interests that I am into. Thats the "Other Guy" .
It's more so the Cornyness of the storys provided from that time period. I am sure it was & is a fantastic Read, & was great for any Child too. But it's a little far fetched to me that a Guy running around with a "Cosmic Rod" was some fantastic Super Hero, and Not a Porn Star. The rest of his team must have been terrifed everytime they reported for battle.... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.

By cheap I just meant cost effective for getting the most bang for your buck...
Speaking of the guy with the Cosmic Rod, Starman....his son's book by James Robinson (coincidentally entitled "Starman") is a great modern look at some of the JSA characters and nuances. And it shows that the original Starman, Ted Knight, although not a top guy like the GA GL or FLash could be a cool character in his own right.
Plus the JSA also brought us (later on in "All-Star Comics" 70s revival) the Earth-2 Huntress and Power Girl! Now don't tell me you don't like PG, BK!Think OUTSIDE the Box! For the BEST in Repro & Custom Packaging!Comment

Yes. PowerGirl is the Best SuperHerion Ever. For Obvious Reasons.
In efforts to be the "Arse" that I am,.. I used the word "Cheap" a different direction, than perhaps was needed.
& Don't try & sell me on Anyone in the comics that is running around with a "Cosmic Rod" ... That is what Porno is for.
FurtherMore,.. to me Golden Age Green Lantern is the a Fantastic character, And I am glad he was created.Last edited by BlackKnight; Feb 8, '08, 10:35 PM.... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.

Very nice indeed. I love your outfits, and I especially like the 3rd photo. You must have quite a portfolio by now. I would LOVE to see a group shot of your customs.Comment
