Mego scale pirate gear at Dollar Store

Found these pirate figures at the Dollar store. Each figure comes with a sword and a gun.



The weapons seem too big for the actual figures, but they look perfect for Mego (and larger) scale. Two different kinds of swords that I saw.

What dollar store did you find that at? My Dollar Tree never has anything good. Those weapons are nice,and I actually like the figure! There are a couple of things I noticed:
1.His head is from a wreslting fig at my 99 cent store
2.That logo is from "The Pirates:Band of Misfits"

Dollar Tree. I always forget that they have a name besides "Dollar Store".

Oh, that's the Dr. Octopus from, of all things, the Spider-man and Friends chunky, preschool type figures. He's on a doc mego swivel arm "buff" body. I just stuck the head on there so he wouldn't look like a naked, headless pirate. There is one of those figures on ebay right now for around 11 bucks, if you're into it. (not my auction!)

Thx, Gary! That sword is perfect. I'm on the heels of starting a Thundaar the Barbarian figure and the "hilt" will be perfect for his "fabulous sun sword".

Man, I loved Thundarr. The opening sequence of that show, man, that was cool. I did a plush Thundarr. Is everybody finding the dollar store stuff okay? If not, pm me, I can get them for you. $2 shipping and $1 or so for however many you want (weapon-wise) probably more if you want the crap figure.
