What kind of glue works well on vintage Mego boots?

I want to customize some boots & repair a bridle--What adhesive works best?

Is super-glue durable? Ideally, it should bond strong & slightly flexible...

    Thank you!

Pat Catan's has a real good fabric glue. Its in a brown bottle with a white top. I'll try to dig it out later for the name for you. It dries clear , and works on everything.Best water clean up.
With the top it has it makes it easy to get it hard to reach spots like inside the boots.

Scott, The best stuff I've ever used, and there have been many, is Loctite. You can apply tiny amounts to get great results. However, only use the control gel. I've gotten good at controlling this stuff and can seal fabric seams with it. It goes pretty quick, so you'll buy several bottles but I cannot imagine a product working better.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

        Hmmmm....

I find superglue works real good about half the time. The other half, not so much. Even if you're using it on two of the same part.

Ben, you are referring to Aileen's tacky glue. I find that it bonds strongly but not on non-porous items.

          I've had super-glue be hit-or-miss, too...

          Is Loc-tite an epoxy?

Yep thats the stuff, it comes in a clear bottle, callec clear gel tacky glue, Have you tried roughing up the edges for better hold?
The loc-tite is similar to super glue in fluid form. Its comes in different colors at work for different uses. Smells pretty good
