    Knit material

    Okay, what kind of modern knit material is a good substitute for the stuff that Mego used for their bodysuits/tights?

    Spandex is okay, but it looks a little too slick unless you're going for the wet look.

    Should I concentrate on cotton/lycra? Or try to find something in tricot knit?

        I usually use lycra/spandex but you are right. It can be a bit shiney. I hit thrift stores for a lot of cool old strethy material (athletic clothes ususally work great).

          not if you get the more cotton-y look lycra. Its not shiny at all. See most of my customs for what I am talking about. I just roam about Joanns till I find other stretchy material.
