    Mego size clothing patterns

This has probably been asked a million times but I figured it wouldnt hurt to ask once more:
Are there any sites that have clothing patterns in the mego format?

I'm mostly wanting more variety. It would be nice to have patterns of things like lab coats, overcoats etc.

Its nice to be able to print a pattern and its basically the size needed.

The only sites I know of that have Mego size patterns are Mego Madhouse http://www.megomadhouse.com/patterns.html

and the Mego Museum in the CustoMego section http://www.megomuseum.com/custom/patterns.shtml

Hadnt tried megomadhouse, thanks for the link. They have a trenchcoat on there. A few of the others may come in useful as well.

I may try modifying a pattern a little and see if it works. I havent really experimented much other than what patterns are used for.

Has anyone torn apart any ctvt shirts, etc and tried to make patterns from them? I"ve been thinking about giving that a try to.

I took apart a set of their tights once. They are much larger than the regular Mego tights, as well as being made from slightly thicker material.

The fit isn't as close as the vintage ones. They have longer crotch lengths and are somewhat baggy.

You either have to take them in around the crotch area, or make your own.

          Hmmmm....

If you feel adventuorus you can somtimes use patterns for doll clothes, or real outfits and costumes (check the library.) Scan them and resize for a Mego figure.
