    Hi all

Looking for someone who can make custom heads. The soft Mego type heads. To be made in real life likenesses. Who can help me.

    Thank you

Maybe a better question is can this be done or do they have to be the harder type resin heads. Will need them to fit the 8 inch type 1 and Doc Mego type bodies.

I have some customs in mind that would be cool if I get it all together.

Pm or respond would be cool.

    Thanks again

Wow! How much money are you looking to invest into each head?

The soft heads, or rotacast heads would probably cost thousands of dollars per head and would most likely be made in china. Casted heads are more likely .

I don't know where to even start on pricing or what I would pay. I have in the past bought Heads from Brian Lightner but only stuff the had out there not custom and the hard heads, and they were like $8 apice.

I am not looking to mass produce any of these heads just a few here and there for my own personal customs. Would it really cost in the thousands. That doesnt seem realistic.

to have someone do an individual sculpt for you will probably be in the $300ish area.
Last guy I approached to make me a custom sculpted head that no one else had - he wanted $500.

Those prices were just the sculpting...not any mold making/resin copy stuff.

On the plus side, with the large amount of heads that have been made over the last 40 years, odds are there is an existing head that can be altered to fit most uses. I mean sure it depends on what you are trying to do or make...

There are members on here that know more about it than I, but theres ways to enlarge and downsize heads to. It takes a little know how but theres tons of Marvel Universe and DCU heads that can be modified in this way.

I've seen threads, directly asking for information on finding custom heads for sale, go unanswered. A good piece of advice given to me was: "Look at the bottom of members posts for link to their web-sites."
