KISS!!
Okay, I'll calm down now. But I have had mucho requests for KISS boxes for a while and only a beat up box and other roadblocks in the way of making them.
So finally, with the help of a partial scan of part of the front of the box donated from a kind member here (to greatly help out in replacing a lot of missing printing on my box affecting Peter Criss the most) I restored the box.
The hardest part was totally rebuilding the background behind the guys in the picture. I also rebuilt the KISS logo from scratch.
I haven't done an insert yet, I'm not sure if the insert is grey or dull silver. Judging from photos I've seen it could be either. If you know the insert color, please post it here.
Here is the test box with it's poor mangled father. But guess what, that poor mangled box does have Ace Frehley's autograph (though it's faded and hard to see). Way back when he came to House Of Guitars for a signing and although I couldn't go because I had to work, I had my mom take the box (with Ace Frehley inside) to get it signed. This was in the early 80's and the ink sort of faded away with time. It's still partially visable (but probabaly not in the pictures)
