    Samurai }

    Hey Guys,

    I wanted to make this guy for a bit. Was going for more of a comicbook look for him, rather than the cartoon. I picked up the head from Dave a few yrs back. I think its a Modified Klingon Head... Russ's torso, hands as well as Bootfeet & Forarms. Check out the Muscular Legs. Hand sewn suit . Box from Toyroom.

      Whoooaaa! That is AMAZING! I like the way you used Caucasian colored fabric to simulate the skin. The tightness of the suit shows the body features through and the effect is great. Fabulous work, BK! *applause*

            Oh man, that is great! I know the pc attempts superfriends was vaguely offensive, but man I loved those characters. The Samurai Super Powers figure was my favorite.

            Great work!

                  At first I wasn't sure about the flesh colored suit, but it's so tightly sewn that details of the body show through the suit and even the color of the suit shows different details. Pretty impressive

                    Nice work on the costume. I'm usually not a fan of flesh bodysuits, but this one works.

                            Well, I can't offer any more than a broken record effect now but I REALLY like that flesh colored suit. I've always wondered how one would look if done the way I imagine it should be done and I think you've nailed it. With male figures it's not as big of a deal in general but the Samurai is a good example of how it could really benefit. Namor, Tarzan, Conan, etc. would all look good too.

                            But, female characters is where this would really help. It's hard enough to make a female character look...smooth(?). Seeing the articulation just ruins the illusion. You've got me intrigued by the possibilities.

                            What material did you use by the way? Hand sewn or machine?

                            Kudos.

                              Very awesome looking custom! I'm not familiar with the character, but in comparison to the picture, you did a great job!

                              The suit matches the picture pefectly. And as for the flesh colored fabric, like everyone else stated, you did exceptional work with that. The muscle toned legs are really cool as well. They really have that 'superhero' feel to them. And with the fabric stretched out tightly over the whole frame of the body, incuding the legs, you've got one neat looking custom!

                              Another thing I must comment about is how well you match the paint of the head to the fabric.

                              All in all, kudos on this piece of work. It's great. :D
