The girl in question is a sideshow 12" figure. I started to convert her to recreate the main character from Manga's "Ghost in the Shell "series, got as far as giving her a haircut!....

Your model is astounding and I love seeing every new picture of it!
I once enlarged the plans for the bridge to fit 8-9 inch figures and have to say your model matches very closely with the plans I sized up. Notable is how wide each station is & the roomy-ness in front of the Helm/Nav console. The bridge is not as cramped as some people think.Comment

BEAUTIFUL! To actually be doing this you deserve a 21 phaser salute.
Just one thing, on the Classic bridge the turbo lift doors aren't behind Kirk's chair and there are only 2 full stations to his left.

Sorry missed this question when I checked out the thread.
All built of plasticard mainly 30 thou, with a little 40 and 60 thrown in for good measure....The reason for the strange alien like hiroglyphics is that I found a source of plastic signage on the cheap!....The inner floor ring is just cardboard to give me a pattern for laying out.
Hopefully it will be lit, and there is provision for a 10" digital picture frame (or if I can find one cheap enough a tablet!) in the main viewer.....so the crew can watch Star Trek as they work!Comment

As for the turbolift, if the center seat area isn't permanently fixed in place it can always be turned for display purposes. Even on the 1/350 E model that's just been released they give you the option of either/or. Some like it authentic yet offset; some like it straightened out.Comment

Hello eve everyone, sorry there hasn't been any updates on bridge build, I promise it is still going on!
Unfortunately I had some rather bad news recently, I have been diagnosed with Cancer of the Osophagus and am at present trying to get treatment sorted out, plus I have to finish my big Gunstar for a friend...(cos he's paying me!).
But i promise as soon as things settle down, work will recommence on this beast.......Comment

Amazing work.
I am curious though about the placement of the turbolift. I always thought it was on the right of the captain's chair when facing it. It looks like you have it positioned directly behind.
Edit: never mind, it was already answered!Last edited by B-Lister; Apr 12, '13, 11:17 AM.Looking for Green Arrow accessories, Doctor Who Sonic Screwdriver, and Japanese Popy Megos (Battle Cossack and France, Battle of the Planets, Kamen Rider, Ultraman) and World Heroes figuresComment
