    Has anyone tried dying a 3 3/4 figure ?

I was considering dying some of my Hasbro figures. The Indiana Jones figure's particlarlly.
I wonder Would RIT dye be able to make my white Col. Vogels costume black?

Side Note: I wasnt satisfied with my last Black dying experiment with Mego limbs. Should have been much darker. I used plenty of salt and dye.

Rit has changed its formula lately, and I've found it does not work nearly as good on pvc.

      Hmmmm....

Dying works good for lighter colours, but plastic doesn't absorb it so good, no matter what kind you use. You'll always get something lighter than normal. 3.5" figures add the problem that they're mjade of differnet types of plastic, so the limbs and body usually absorb at a different rate.

limbs and body will definitely absorb at a different rate. Also, I have noted fading in colors on the softer vinyl material for arms and legs of Hasbro SW figures.
