    Hunter Dan bodies?

How does this figure's physique and articulation compare with Emce, Zica, etc?

Looking for a different type of body to add some variety to my customs.

Can't seem to find any comparison photos

I know they are easily obtainable on ebay and from online sellers of hunting and fishing gear.

I was wondering the same thing bout the body comparisons. I actually Googled Hunter Dan the other night after I read another post and was curious. Turns out there's a Hunter Dan website where the figures and other stuff is available. Otherwise, Cabellas has them available as well. They run bout $20 at both sites. Was thinkin bout maybe gettin one and a Hunter Ann and checking em out. Anyone who has used one care to fill us in on the body comparisons???

I Love the Hunter Dan bodies, I have done my custom Thor, Conan, all kinds of knights, Sinbad, even Jesse the Body Ventura LOL. Look at my flickr link below and you will see my Conan and Thor a couple pages back. I highly recomend HD bodies, I'm driving to FL today and I'm hitting up all Cabellas on the way. HD are light weight, durable, hightly articulated, and beefy for the characters that are supposed to be bigger guys like Conan and Thor. Another good body are the UFC jakks Pacific but you have to alter the neck area or just cut the neck plug off what ever head you are using so in the endgame Hunter Dans are way best.

              Thanks, Trappy.
I'll definitely be purchasing a few Hunter Dan figures in the coming weeks.
              Nice Conan, by the way.

Cool! So basically they're a lil bit beefier body. Might make a good body for a Colossus custom. Hmmmm...got the wheels in my head turning now.

Yeah they have swivel arm grip and they can hold weapons like 1/6 scale swords and battle axes great as well as 7 inch scale he-man accessories. Colossus would be great on one of these, I'm using a DM big body on mine I'm dremeling the feet so 9 inch scale Thor boots will fit him.

The Hunter Dan bodies are great, except for the length of the arms.
They have stubby arms from elbow to wrist, and the hands are a little large in proportion.
The boys from Cast-A-Way used the Hunter Dan bodies for the FX exclusive " Fighting Yank" figure.
They fixed the short arm problem by casting sepparate hands ( fist and Karate chop) with an extended wrist.
This made the proportions correct and it looks incredible.
The Hunter Dan is like an 8" version of the 12" hasbro Starting Line-up figures. ( and Action Man, Star Wars, etc.)
It's a great figure, and with a tweek of two , can be an awesome figure !

I've seen them at Cabelas. It's outdoor Hunting & Fishing store.
