After seeing several Solomon Grundy customs I've been inspired to make my own. I started with a Doc white muscle body and some various black suits. Anyway, I'm trying to get some proper shoes on these huge feet. Should I dremel the feet to thin them down so that they can fit into some 1/6 scale boots? I don't like the idea of a bare-foot Grundy and Plastidip isnt the answer either.

Hasbro Joe boots, if cut down to shoe height, work pretty well.I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.
If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.Comment

I wouldn't use acetone one the boots, it could ruin the outside. If the Hasbro Joe boots don't work and you end up with something a little more snug, maybe you could heat them with a hairdryer or hot water to temporarily soften them up.Hey! Where's the waiter with the water for my daughter?
Check out my customs!

I have no clue what the Muscle body foot looks like or size. But I'd guess Random Axe is on the money. Alot of GI Joe boots are soft rubber. And I always thought Grundy sported Jethro Bodine type work boots. And like Del added. A little hot H2O will soften them right up!Comment

I used a combination of hot water and a hair dryer to soften these Soldier's of the World boots. Grindy's wearing them, but they look clownish because they're so long. I've drawn in a line where his toe stops. I kind of feels like I'm buying a child a pair of shoes..."ok where is your big toe?"
Any thoughts?
