Disassembly of C3P0 questions

I am looking to do some customs and I don't know the best way to disassemble a vintage Kenner 3 3/4" 3P0 any advice?

I presume Kenner vintage figures here - do you mean the 3 3/4" or the 12"?
The 12" just has screws in the torso back and is a fairly straight-forward deal - though sometimes they stick I think from the chroming.
