Say you were going to kitbash a John Carter figure (the book, comic, or movie version--makes no difference) using Doc Mego and CTVT parts. Just daydream a bit and brainstorm with me. What pieces would you choose to make the best figure, outside of sculpting your own head and stuff? I'm kind of mulling it over and am interested in what you creative guys and gals would do. Thanks!

Depends on the Carter look you're going for.
Disney Carter is very generic with shoulder-length hair. The closest head appears to be a BBP Flash Gordon.
If you're looking for a more generic Carter, then the Will Scarlett/Galahad head, or maybe POTA Burke/Vernon.
Tarzan also works, but it's going to look like Tarzan In Space...which Carter technically is.
Sting could be a good one. I never remember that head.Last edited by hedrap; Jun 7, '12, 6:07 PM.Comment

I was leaning towards that or maybe even CTVT's Astronaut. Those sideburns are real Civil War-ish, but I'm not decided at all. I looked around for the Sting head and didn't see it at either site--I might just be overlooking it. I'm also up for suggestions for boots, swords, and the whole she-bang, guys.Comment
