    wantedactionfigures.com

Just got an email from wantedactionfigure.com and noticed they're offering more 1/9 scale heads, including an Angelina Jolie. Being as a lot of 1/6 scale customizers use that site I really think it will help draw more attention to the 1/9 scale market, which is a very good thing.

Yep ! And if you buy them, You will be ****ed off because the Heads are Smaller than Little Rascle Size Because they don't understand what 1/9th Means. Or so that's what Happened to The Wood and His Tarzan Head ..., I've seen it, it's unbelievable, and they won't ( or wouldn't at the time) refund his very large sum of cash to get this "Mego Scale" They Call it.

Thier "1/9" Scale is Smaller than Customslab. ...
I can Prove it, right now.

I'd say only buy 12inch scale 1/6th from this Site.

I've never ordered any heads from them so I wasn't aware of the problem. That sucks that the sculptor(s) can't get the scale right because it would definitely be a plus for the 1/9 scale market, in more ways than one.

            You Decide.

Just Throwing this out there ...., I could be wrong here, but just a Thought ...., This doesn't look much like any 1/9 Scale Mego I've ever seen.

Now, In a Different Thread, I had defend this company's product, an I stand by those comments as far as 1/6th 12inch Scale Goes. They Have Fantastic Product.

However with thier " 1/9th Mego Scale" Product, it is a True Crime to Charge, what they charge for Product, let alone commissioned Sculpted work and get away ripping people off and stealing thier Money. They need to seriously re-evaluate what 1/9th scale is before taking anyone Esles Money now, ever, and in the Future.

They Need to refund Everyone's Money, they stole from in this Scale.

I'm not all that impressed with the likeness either.

Looks like their sculptor has a bad case of "Honey, I Shrunk The Head" syndrome.

Or maybe he/she's a witch doctor and is into head shrinking.

Or maybe he/she's a part-time psychologist/psychiatrist, both of which deal with head problems and are called "shrinks"...

sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

Wow. I just checked out their website and they REALLY need to hire a new painter for their samples!!!! The paints on their Lynda Carter/Wonder Woman head are TERRIBLE!!!! Plus, some of their likenesses are even close!!! I was looking at the Christian Bale head and it doesn't even really look like Bale---the nose is waaay too wide....

Wow! That's beyond bad. I really thought that what they were offering could generate more awareness and interest in the 1/9 scale market but obviously that's not the case here.

They probably just need a body for reference. When I had her sculpt my 1:6 Brent head I sent a head that was in scale and a body.

A buddy of mine had her sculpt Armando from Conquest POTA she sculpted it the size of a golf ball and refused to refund his money. My buddy paid her to do it over again. Second time was the charm.
If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.

From what I've read elsewhere, the person who commissioned this gave the sculptor measurements based off the Mego Tarzan head, so that should have resulted in the correct size.

Yeah...the language barrier and poor customer relations from what I have heard...

And I've seen plenty of the off scale casts. Really awful.

You'd be better off to have them sculpt it in 1/6 and then have someone shrink it to 1/9...cause it looks like someone is going to have to blow it up to the proper scale anyway. And at least you'd have a 1/6 head to use or flip if you don't want it...
