What's the Best way to attach a PEZ head?

I've never bought a PEZ in my life however I spotted a few Star Wars ones that looked mego scale today and bought them.

Now I'm wondering what the best way to attach these to a mego body??

Mold it, shrink it, Put a Plug on it, then cast it.

I always use wooden dowel rod. There's a size (1/2 inch maybe) that fit perfectly up into the heads (usually) and then leave off enough to go down into a neck-plug (might have to sand it. Lots of glue and then you're off and running.

Warning: Some of those pez heads are HUGE for mego bodies. I've used a bunch for 9 inch customs and they can STILL be big.
