    CTC, I will drybrush this weekend when I can work on it during the daytime. I will definitely try to bring out the texture of the beard. I find that the lighting throws off the actual paint colors and what you see at night when you paint is not necessarily what you see the next morning...

    OK guys and gals...I'm too excited about my Ursus, but since this is my WIP thread I just wanted to show you his full body shot. Please note that the shoes he is wearing includes a toe dent and it's made by me out of real leather. He still needs a gauntlet and chips hands...

      WOW!!!

      I think you outdid yourself Jessica. I love it!

      The paint on the helmet gives it a nice leather look, the face paint makes him look real and the whole outfit is the work of a master craftsman.

          Hi Jessica,

          You should start a new thread to show off your figure. You started off the tread by asking a painting question and your wonderful Ursus is hidden down here. I think many other members would love to see the woderful work you have done.
