How to make a "printed suit"

Well I've been saying I would put together a tutorial on how to make printed suits for years now and never got around to it. My daughter Laura, megomeet folks all know her as little Ed, has stepped up and put together a few fun basic presentations for you. I hope this shows everything you need to put together your own "silk screen type" suits.

How To: Printed Suit by Ed Nagy on Prezi

How To: Sew Your Suit! by Ed Nagy on Prezi

If you need more help feel free to pm me.
Anyone who uses these and goes to the meet this year be sure to give peeps to Laura.
    Have Fun!

Tell Little Ed I said "Thanks!"

Question for Original Ed: Have you tried any of the aftermarket ink for the Epson printer? I have tons of that, but the name brand stuff for my model is kinda pricey.

I have tried some aftermarket inks, but what Ive found was water based. If the ink is water based and the suit ever gets wet it's trashed.

I've saved the empty cartridges for the past five years or so... it hurts to look in that box and add up how much I've gone through. I have been lucky to this point in that I get a 20% discount on my inks

GREAT presentation! Informative and educational without being boring or mundane!! Thanks for sharing with us! BTW, what software did you use to create said presentation...?
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

Like Chad said, she used Prezi, it's free and on line like photo bucket, or tiny pics. you make an account (name and password), very fast and simple then you can do your presentations. It looked really easy to use too.

It's not really been a big secret, I've tried to help anyone who has asked. Last year I brought my set up to mego meet to "show and tell" and a quick step by step was filmed by the video crew that was there but I don't know if it ever made it to the web.

Besides, I can tell people "how to" but I still have the extra knowledge that years of tweeking the process has given me.
