How much should you charge for customs?

Can someone please give me some starter prices? I have a party interested in buying one of my customs and I'm not sure where to start pricewise....Any and all feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

For starters, it depends on how much you have invested in the custom as far as parts, material, body, etc. Add to that, skill level. Someone that does a Type 3 Toys/Captain Mego type custom is going to get a lot more than the basic "plastic boots and cape from Doc Mego" style.

        What the other guys said.

I'm happy to pay between $50 and $150 for a custom figure, depending on how long it took to make, the parts used ( shop bought or made by the customiser ) and the complexity etc.

Yup,depends on what you feel it is worth really.Figure only your parts and time or somebody elses or combo of both.Does it come with a box?did you make the box or did you order it.
My definition is;If I wanted to make another one what would it cost me?
Or if I was going to make one what would I pay for the parts?
I think $50 is a pretty good starting point though heads usually $10,body anywhere from $5-45 alone, suits $25,boxes/cards $5-25,Don't forget the time you invested in the custom. No matter how much you ask they have the right to say thats a little steep.
Confusing yes but then again I'm not big on buying or selling customs,I reallly enjoy making them.
In conclusion I would say what ever makes you feel comfortable in the end.

It would help to see the figure in question if you have it made already. I've seen customs get $50 that were barely worth it, and seen some get $300 that I thought "is that all he got for that?"

Like everyone have said here, depends on how good the figure is.

                  If it's bad, I won't even bother.

If it's good, I've paid as much as $150 for an 8 inch figure, and up to $300 for a custom 12 incher.

My rule of thumb is this: Charge as much as you can. If you can't get what it's worth, hold on to it. Never sell ya'self short.

Most customizers here have run into him, I'm sure you will too soon enough. Just keep showing off your work here and eventually he'll find you
