          Back in the late 90's the military used this technology to produce ears, noses, chins, etc., for troops coming back from serious injuries. The technology is not new, but it has gotten much smaller and more affordable. Back in the 90's the printer for this tech took up a 10x15 room, and printing anything took several days.

                            This technology is only going to become cheaper and faster as time goes on. I wonder if this will have a negative effect on the toy industry and this hobby. It could help, i guess, in that if a certain part is hard to find it can be copied perfectly.
