    How to Stop drilling holes in your cast pieces

    If you didnt already know:
    Metal will not stick to silicone or resin. I figured this out when I made some custom Mugato feet awhile back.
    After reading Pop Sculpture I learned it's THE TRICK to building joints .

    With my Mugato Feet I cast the original with a metal rod through the joint hole.
    I removed the original foot, reinserted the rod through the mold and poured a positve . Remove the metal rod and you have a perfect joint hole with no drilling!
    ( Sorry I don't have pics right now. )

    I see Micromark sells metal casting sets. I'm brainstorming on how to use that ability in a custom. ( Maybe a "light port" like Superpowers Darkseid?)
