    Rubber hardness chart and question:

    a. Shore 20A = Rubber Band
    b. Shore 40A = Pencil Eraser
    c. Shore 60A = Car Tire Tread
    d. Shore 70A* = Running Shoe Sole
    e. Shore 80A = Leather Belt
    f. Shore 100A = Shopping Cart Wheel
    *Most common durometer

I just copied that info from a website that makes and sells O rings. I got there by googling "Shore 40A" in reference to Micro Marks' TCR-40 ( rubber wheel making kit)

I'm posting this because I have been on the phone with material companies and not known what "Shore " meant. Maybe it will help someoene else too.

Is there such a thing as Resin Plasticizer or will I have to find Shore 80A rubber to make flexible figure parts in color?
