I just copied that info from a website that makes and sells O rings. I got there by googling "Shore 40A" in reference to Micro Marks' TCR-40 ( rubber wheel making kit)
I'm posting this because I have been on the phone with material companies and not known what "Shore " meant. Maybe it will help someoene else too.
Is there such a thing as Resin Plasticizer or will I have to find Shore 80A rubber to make flexible figure parts in color?
