Has Mego Kiss ever been unmasked?

I know the Paul Stanley figure is a re-tooled captain from the Captain and Tenille line and Peter is actually a re-tooled Lex Luthor, but I've never seen the Ace figure or Gene figure switched to their make-up free look. I was curious if anyone had ever tried that. Obviously Gene is a specific sculpt for KISS, but Ace looks like he might be a retooled figure as well. Does anyone know or have pics? I think they would be interesting customs to made to look like they did in the 80's.

Nope I think Ace was done just for the Kiss figure,have you noticed he's the only one of the 4 with an "adams apple" I know it's stupid but I noticed that like a year ago
