Arthur P. Jacobs would be proud. The backgrounds really look great! Where did you pose these?

Thanks to everyone for the positive comments on this thread and others I have posted. When your stuff is out there for people to see, it's nerve-wracking--almost like it's open season for comments, so hearing all of this positive feedback is REALLY great. I am honored and humbled to be part of this forum.

I posed these figures in my back yard, which is kind of on a steep hill. These figures are really quite tiny, so you can get a myriad of environments from one little plot of land by varying the degree of orientation of the camera on the same hillside. Except for the Escape Zira outfit, all of the poses you see on the gallery were photographed within 2 feet of each other. I'm sure my neighbors see me on the hill and say, "look! it's that girl loitering on the hillside--whatever the devil is she up to again?"

Thank goodness for the advent of the digital camera, because out of 30 or so photos taken of each figure, I whittle it down to five or six, and then only pick the outstanding one. I am my own worst critic, I must admit.

What you see on the gallery is the collection of figures I currently own. Do you think I should purchase another figure when I someday do General Ursus--or will the soldier ape be able to stand in for him? Questions I ponder in the dead of night...

Congrats Jessica. The ape suits look really cool, especially those hieroglyphs.

I'd either use an original Ursus head (if you want to keep using original Mego sculpts) or think about using some custom sculpts or shrinks to give him a more accurate look. Probably, since you have used all original Mego sculpts, I'd keep doing that, using an original Mego Ursus.

Heh, I got the head from Russ awhile back, just never got around to making the clothes. He's high on my to do list.
