Can I mix different brands Catalyst and Silicone Base?

I still get most of my supplies from Monster Makers. I just got some Thixotropic and Fast Catalyst additives for a brush up mold on a large piece but I am continually coming up with lots of extra silicone base.

Of course Monster Makers doesnt sell the Catalyst seperate.

I have no ingredient details but its 10 parts base to 1 part catalyst by weight if that says anything.

    Thanks

    Hmmmm....

I would test a small bit first. In theory, yes you can mix different bases and catalysts.... they're similar (if not the same) chemicals.... but there's always the chance that any specific brand will feature a weird intermix and the two won't bond. Or maybe they will, but the cure time will be longer, or shorter, or something really strange will happen.

Yeah, I can't use the base anyway so I think this would be a great time for testing.
It doesnt smell bad or burn the skin so I think I can handle any other kind of "really strange"
I've always wanted to try casting positives with it since it's flexible and i cant do PVC.
