Taking a Customizer Poll!!!

Been peeking and reading around for a while. And a question seemed to come to mind. I see people altering exsisting Mego heads to make new custom charactors IE Batman to DareDevil, Spaceghost and Black Panther. And turning Star Trek Scotty into the Lone Ranger or Conan into JJ Jamison as mentioned in another post.

So My poll question is. What original Mego head would be the all time greatest customizer Starting base head? And while were at it what NON-Mego Toyline Head would you say is a Mego Customizers best friend?

My choices

Batman is my choice for most versitily customizing base head.

For non-Mego customizing heads
Hero Kliks (By Au'some Inc)
Centurions. (Kenner I think) I like the LONG necks on these when you extract em from the bodys. Also Centurions look simular to several other charactors

back in the day it would be Capt. America hands down. Now with more and more characters the bald thor is a good one, always liked Mr. Fantastic too.

I like bald Conan or Thor, and Spock too, but the cap is probably the most commonly used one I've seen I've seen.

I pretty much like non-hero plain guy heads, b/c you can turn them into pretty much anything. (like the Astronaut became Rick Springfield). I'm gonna kitbash some customs for the toy drive I'm donating to using Sir Gallahad and Long John Silver as Superman and Shazam. Somehow, I don't think needy kids will mind the inaccuracies as long as the figures are fun to play with.

I dislike when the original head is recognizable, so when I was still modifying existing sculpts before I could do it from scratch, I would use John Boy, Gallahad, Robin Hood with a shave, etc.

Bald Thor and/or Conan. With those two you can make any Marvel or DC character from the 70's, and a lot of other folks since the heads conform to the "generic heroic guy" pattern society has used since the 50's.
