Can retro action cheetah boots be painted?

I'm getting ready to do a female custom figure and I'm going to be useing retro action cheetah boots.My question is can they be painted over with the color that I want them and what type of paint should I use?Thanks again for everyones advice.

Use a paint that has latex in it like Krylon H2O latex spray paint. You may be able to use something else but this is meant to be used on rubber surfaces.

I checked out the Krylon H2O paint but they don't have the color that I need.I need a dark navy blue paint.

Dupli-color Vinyl & Fabric Spray Paint should do the job.
