Regan MacNeil from "The Exorcist" (by Brian Leitner)

Following up from last Christmas, when Brian did a "Carrie" action figure... (weird time of year for it but I believe the customer gives it as a Christmas present):

Regan MacNeil from "The Exorcist" (as portrayed by Linda Blair)...

    (Box by me)

And of course, the figure needed to have 360 degree head-turning action!

    Happy Horrordays!

Interesting idea, but I think the figure totally misses the mark. Regan was a little girl, so she shouldn't have an adult body. The face is also too smooth and doll-like face, and the hair looks like thick wet paint.

Linda does have a little but too much junk in the trunk (a smaller body would be more appropriate), but I like the head, it has sort of a brunette Dinah on a two week heroine bender look to it. Great dress too.

Nothing says "Merry Christmas" like an Excorcist custom.

Nice work man! I think everything works well like you have it but I would tone down the head with a satin finish clear coat. I use DuraClear satin varnish on hair and then Delta Ceramics All Purpose Sealer on everything else. It really does the trick if you want to avoid that glossy look Happy Holidays!

Creepy great but I hope it doesn't make the spotlight window since her face always creeps me out

I think it looks great, everything. I sure wouldn't mind a horror custom like this for Christmas

WOW !!! Freaky indeed. I think the figure grasp's the idea of her very well in Mego form. Fantastic box as well Anthony.

                        HAW!

That's cool! A weird idea well executed! And yeah; a smaller bod would be more appropriate, but it's damned difficult to accquire one.

To this day, as a 32 year old man, that face just scares the sh@# out of me As for the figure...I love it! Nice original idea for a custom. The dress looks great, and I dig the head sculpt although, like some other people on the board, I would agree to tone down the glossy coat. I use Testor's Dulcotte Lacquer and it does a great job. To top it off Anthony comes through with the amazing box art, providing the cherry on top of a very creepy Sundae.

I hear what Ant is saying about the "inaccuracies"... so noted...but on the plus side
the figure is heavily recognizable as the character its supposed to be...even at a
glance...so I think that's a real strong point going for it, as, in the end, that's
the (major) goal here----good job guy(s)!
